Welcome message from the organisers

Under this year’s motto, ‘Analogue meets Algorithm’, we will meet in May for the 114.BiblioCon in Berlin at the Estrel Congress Centre.

We look forward to stimulating exchanges, inspiring discussions, company news and a rich programme. The focus will be on social issues such as data sovereignty as the cornerstone of responsible digital participation, libraries as places for all generations and needs, the further development of the necessary qualifications in our professional field, and the ability to meaningfully combine familiar and proven traditions with new technologies.

Berlin’s libraries are contributing their considerable professional expertise and creative energy to the programme of the 114th BiblioCon. BiblioCon. Thank you very much! Their contributions, ranging from insights into their institutions and services to the organisation of city tours and visits, make Berlin the stage for the library and information world during these days.
